Since its foundation in 1908 Hauhinco always has been actively involved in the mining community offering numerous products and solutions. One of the first colored pictures of a Hauhinco pump station in an underground coal mine was taken in June 1972. The picture was taken at „Zeche Hansa“, a coal mine located in Dortmund-Huckarde, Germany. The coal mine was active until November 28th 1980.
