HIDROD Descaling Rotors:
High impact force at minimal water usage

The demand for high quality steel, stainless steel, copper, non-ferrous and forged products is enormous. Customers require flawless materials at competitive prices. This leads to increased requirements on the descaling process. Within the production, the descaling process has the greatest impact on the quality of the product as almost no other production step. To fulfill these high requirements, hydromechanical descaling is the most suitable form of descaling. In order to make full use of its potential, a profound process knowledge is necessary. An optimal ratio of descaling quality and necessary resources is always the primary objective.
With the redesigned rotor descaling technology and decades of experience in the development of water hydraulic components for the usage under the harshest conditions, Hauhinco successfully developed a new generation of descaling rotors: HIDROD.

HIDROD: robust, compact, strong

HIDROD, short for Hauhinco Internal Drive ROtor Descaler, stands for the highest available descaling quality.This technology can achieve a quality of hot rolled products unable to be matched by any other hydro mechanical
descaling method. HIDROD sets the benchmark in descaling, while simultaneously using less water and energy.

  • Fully integrated asynchronous motor hermetically sealed to the atmosphere
